Driggsby provides software that helps users better understand and manage their finances. This Privacy Policy explains what information Driggsby collects, how it is used, and how it is handled.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Driggsby, we may collect:
- account registration and profile information
- authentication and session information
- information you provide directly to us
- financial account, transaction, balance, liability, or investment information obtained through Plaid when you connect financial accounts
- technical and operational information needed to run, secure, and improve the service
2. How We Use Information
Driggsby uses information to:
- provide the service
- show users their connected financial information
- generate financial insights, summaries, planning support, and related product features
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service
- troubleshoot issues and respond to support requests
- comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, security, or contractual obligations
Driggsby does not use customer financial data for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or other eligibility decisions.
3. Financial Data Connected Through Plaid
If you choose to connect financial accounts through Plaid, Driggsby receives the categories of financial data needed to power the product features you use.
Driggsby uses Plaid-derived data only to provide and improve Driggsby’s financial-planning, analysis, and related product functionality.
When consent is required, Driggsby will present consent language designed to explain what categories of financial data are collected, how they are used, how they may be shared for processing, and how consent may be withdrawn.
4. Sharing and Service Providers
Driggsby may share information with service providers that help operate the product, such as providers for cloud infrastructure, authentication, logging, monitoring, communications, analytics, or model/AI functionality if such providers are used.
Where financial data or other sensitive information is shared for processing, such sharing will be limited to the categories of third parties disclosed to the user and otherwise permitted by applicable law and user consent.
Driggsby may also disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, security, or safety of Driggsby, its users, or others.
Driggsby does not sell customer personal information.
5. Retention
Driggsby retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or support legitimate business operations.
Backups may retain residual copies of data for a limited period until those backups expire in the ordinary course.
6. Security
Driggsby uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but Driggsby uses reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data it handles.
7. Your Choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your information, subject to applicable law and reasonable verification.
You may also disconnect financial accounts and stop using the service at any time.
To revoke a financial-data connection or request deletion, you may disconnect linked accounts within the product when available or contact Driggsby using the contact details below.
8. Children
Driggsby is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use the service, and Driggsby does not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
9. Changes to This Policy
Driggsby may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, Driggsby will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
